Business is all about planning ahead for a better future. A better future for the organisation and for those who interact with the organisation. Established in 1990, ESC has always been thinking ahead in terms of augmenting existing capacities as well as emerging markets.

Commencing operations in alloy steel trading, the company supplied alloy steel products to the Forging, General Engg., Borewell and Mining industries in Southern and Eastern India. Over the last decade, the annual turnover in this division alone has registered a ten-fold increase, from Rs. 20 million to Rs. 200 million.

Sensing a downslide in the trading business with e-commerce bridging the gap between producers and consumers, the organisation has ventured into manufacturing by setting up its Closed Die/Drop Forging unit and Button bits and Hammers manufacturing unit at Hyderabad. We have also entered into a joint venture with an Open Die Forging company. The unit has the capacity to forge upto 4 M/T of shaft & bars, disc, rings & flanges and block & square.

Film production and distribution, being a sound business proposition, soon became a part of the organisation’s portfolio. Attaining immediate recognition in the film industry with their first production ‘Escape from Taliban’ in 2003 the company had produced and released a Bengali Film titled 'Rajmahal' in November 2005. Further more another Bengali and Hindi Film are in the pipeline for 2006.

At the helm of the organisation, directors Mr.Ashok Khemka and Mr.Vijay Nopany continue to inspire the ESC group of companies to forge ahead into the future with confidence and strength.
